JetVoiceMail is a "Voice Mail & Voice Memo" software
that makes use of voice compression technology. JetVoiceMail makes
it possible to record your voice with compression then send it through
E-mail.
JetVoiceMail gives you the ability to send and receive voice mail
just like a regular E-mail, recording voice messages instead of typing
them out.
It is very simple to send voice mail in JetVoiceMail. You just
click the "record" button and record your voice, then
click the "send" button.
JetVoiceMail supports Exchange, Internet Mail, Outlook, Outlook
Express, and Netscape.
Using the Drag & Drop function of JetVoiceMail, you can easily
attach a voice file to other applications such as a mail client,
terminal program, and so on.
One of the distinguished features of JetVoiceMail is that with it
you can create a self-playing "exe" file including voice
data and a very small player. This means you can send voice mail
even if the recipient does not have JetVoiceMail loaded on their
computer.
JetVoiceMail can compress voice with 16:1 or 4:1 compression ratio.
If you record using 16:1 compression, the file size of one hour
recording is about only 3.5MB. 16:1 or 4:1 compression has such
a good quality that you can even record music with JetVoiceMail.
Therefore you can use JetVoiceMail as an audio recorder to record
meetings, lectures, conferences, etc.
JetVoiceMail has various digital voice effects such as reverb,
robot voice, chorus, echo, helium voice, etc. Through voice effects
you can create an interesting voice.
